How to calculate Body Mass Index

Body Mass Index is a simple calculation based on the person's height and weight. It is calculated as BMI = kg/m 2 where kg is the weight of a person in kilograms, while m 2 represents their height measured in meters squared.

It is a BMI greater than 25.0 or more indicates overweight and healthy would be 18.5 and 24.9. BMI applies to most adults aged 18 to 65 years old.
